Say hello to my newest baby, Nikkor AF-S DX f/1.8G! I’m not so sure what to call it yet. Usually, I would have all these brilliant *ahem, ahem* ideas for names but I’m afraid today’s not one of those days.

I sold my 50mm AF f/1.8D (Optimus) to my older brother in order to buy this one. Manually focusing Optimus all the time kinda sucks for me since I tend to forget to bring my eye glasses or wear my contacts. Sometimes, a girl has just got to autofocus, you know.

So my dad asked why I insist on buying lenses for my dear Modoki (my D3000) when I am not even a Photography major to begin with. Well, it’s called “self exploration,” dad. Consider me as the type of person who loves to try all sorts of things. Not to mention, I also have this huge thing for art. But mostly, I just want to take photos of certain moments of my life in high definition.
